The title page states: "Printed in Józefów in the printing press which was previously in Slavita, under the supervision of R. Chanina Lipa Shapira, grandson of the rabbi of Slavita". The word "In Slavita" is emphasized – printed in enlarged letters.

Unrecorded extremely rare Tehilim.
Printed on white paper, in a large letter format, and has exceptionally large margins.
One page has a small tear with a loss of text.
The Shapira printing press was re-established in Józefów by members of the Shapira family, in place of the Slavita printing press, which was closed by government order in 1836. The printing press operated in Józefów for a short period (1842-1847), during which only a few titles were published. The printers then relocated to Zhitomir, where their printing press would operate between 1847-1867.
