ANTIQUE FEMALE PORTRAIT SEPIA PRINT AFTER REMBRANDT
An antique sepia tone print of Volera Nicolai Knobbery, wife of Burgomaster Van Beresteyn after the original oil painting on canvas, 1632. Signed and dated in the print, lower right. Framed. Inscribed with the title and the date on the frame. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Rembrandt was a Dutch Golden Age painter, printmaker, and draughtsman. An innovative and prolific master in three media, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art.
