A vintage mixed media painting on paper depicting a portrait of a lady with flowers in the manner of Marc Chagall. Framed. Inscribed in pencil, After Marc Chagall, on the backside. Marc Zakharovich Chagall was a Russian and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography, wrote poetry in Yiddish. One of the most famous representatives of the artistic avant garde of the 20th century. An early modernist, he was associated with several major artistic styles and created works in a wide range of artistic formats, including painting, drawings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints.
