ANTIQUE MIDDLE EASTERN CERAMIC ENAMEL HOOKAH HEAD
A hand crafted glazed ceramic hookah head. Decorated with a polychrome pattern with fish, birds and flowers. Unmarked, presumably Persian, Qajar Dynasty, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. This is the top part of the hookah, which most often consists of a tube going from the bowl to the flask. The main function is to cool and purify smoke due to the settling of harmful particles on its walls. Smoking Utensils And Enamel Collectibles.
