A miniature oil painting on board, Portrait of Thomas Twistleton, 13th Lord Saye and Sele, after the original oil painting on canvas by Francis Cotes, British, 1726 to 1770. Signed by the artist, Davis, lower right. Framed. Circa: the first half of the 20th century. Framed. Francis Cotes was an English painter, one of the pioneers of English pastel painting, and a founding member of the Royal Academy in 1768.
