1868 SPANISH GOUACHE PAINTING BY EDUARDO ZAMACOIS
Gouache painting on paper by Eduardo Zamacois y Zabala, 1841 to 1871, a Spanish Academic painter who specialized in small-scale canvases. The artwork represents a study for the 1868 painting titled Return to the Abbey, now in the collection of the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga. It depicts monks near the church harnessing donkeys. Signed by the artist and dated in the lower left. White mat, wooden frame. Collectible European Fine Art For Interior Decor, Genre Painting.
