Genealogy of the Cadle family, including the English descent by Henry Cadle, Frank Webster Mahin, Abbie Anna Cadle Mahin published in Washington, D.C. by the Press of W.F. Roberts Co. in 1915. Thomas Cadle (1764-1814) immigrated in 1785 from England to New York City, and was joined in 1791 by his brother, Cornelius Cadle (1772-1843). Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and elsewhere. Includes family history to the 1100s in England, Ireland and Scotland, and family genealogy to the 1500s. Memoirs of the court of England, V. 1: during the reign of the Stuarts including the protectorate by John Heneage Jesse, published in London by Henry G. Bohn in 1857. Memoirs of Samuel Pepys, esq., F. R. S., secretary to the Admiralty in the reigns of Charles II and James II, comprising his diary from 1659 to 1669, deciphered by John Smith, from the original shorthand ms. in the Pepysian Library, and a selection from his private correspondence, Volume 2 edited by Richard Lord Braybrooke and published in London by Henry Colburn in 1828.
