With gilt-brass lion head pommel, guard and fittings, slightly curved blade with etched images of jousting knights, owner's name, and Knights of Templar symbols. Chrome-plated metal scabbard.The Knights of Pythias is a fraternal organization and secret society founded in Washington, D.C., on 19 February 1864.Ca. the first half of the 20th century.
