Victor Victrola gramophone with a decorated box. Working in excellent condition.
Victor victrola gramophone, model victrola-100, year of manufacture 1921.
The Victor company introduced the victrola model in 1906, in order to transform the world of gramophones into furniture from gramophone stages in order to adapt them to the design of the houses.
Before us is a limited edition model of which the company produced only 50 units in 1921.
These models were sold at that time for about $1000 each.
Description: height: 110 cm, length: 55 cm, width 52 cm.
4 legs on which there is a cabinet that opens into 2 steps, the lower step has room for 7 records and the upper part is used for a sound box.
The upper part rises and contains the gramophone, and on its left side is a box divided into 3 and intended for the gramophone needles.
Illustrations of figures for each part (they may have been drawn later). 4 wheels with legs.
Accessories: original needle box and 4 records attached to the gramophone.
Perfect condition, slight damage to the wood, 2 lower handles not original, door needs slight strengthening.
