Ceremonial "Eliyahu Chair", Italy (Venetian), circa 1840
"Eliyahu Chair" composed of two parts, artisanal hand carving in wood in the Neo-Gothic style and decorated with handcrafted sawing of Jewish and floral motifs.
Made in Italy (apparently Venice), mid 19th century - circa 1840.
Its front part is decorated with hand painting in a stylish floral pattern and its upper part with a dove.
* Purchased in an antique furniture storein Parma Italy.
