Emile Galle - Fine Cameo Glass Vase from the "Rio De Janeiro" Series
Impressive exceptionally fine glass vase, made by Emill Galle, circa 1905.
A rare item out of the artist's "Rio De Janeiro" Series, depicting pastoral landscape of palm trees and plantation over a mountiain background in shades of black, green, blue and orange.
In addition, part of the item's quality is pronounced by the cameo containing three layers: trees - in black, the additional plantation - in green, and the mountains - in blue over an orange background.
The item bears the artist's signature and the series hallmark on its base.
