HEINRICH HIMMLER WINTER PRESENTATION BOOK TO DUTCH SS MEMBERS
Rare book presented to members of Dutch SS regiments and brigades, as well as their family members, by Reichsfuhrer-SS Heinrich Himmler in the winter of 1943-44. The 122pp. 4to. book, printed by Storm Publishing, Amsterdam, bears text in Dutch and a foreword by Himmler in German. Included are holiday poems, songs, and color plates of paintings by Dutch artists, as well as one song named "Germany", a story about soldiers, and a full-page portrait of Hitler. Front cover nearly detached with part of spine cover lost, covers slightly worn, contents are excellent.
