Twenty Images of BERNARD ROUGET. Photographic Face of Morocco

Complete photographic collection composed of 20 black and white photographs, silver bromide gelatin vintage prints, originals by the prestigious French photographer Bernard Rouget (Poitiers 1914 - Nice 1988), accompanied by explanatory text printed in French language and album as a book folder.

Each photograph presents on its reverse side a blue print of the photographer's original stamp, as a signature and guarantee of original work, which reads on each one " - PHOTO - / BERNARD / ROUGET", together with a handwritten numbering in black ink where each image is identified. The numbering leads the reader to its explanatory and numbered text in the aforementioned printed text. Curiously, the author did not number photograph number 13, in which only the stamp appears.

The album features a business card of "Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick Prior". On the back, written in dark ink, it reads: "To Don & Eadie: / whose companion - / ships, has made of / Maroc for us a / happy place / Peg & Jack".

Measures: 25.5 x 19.5 x 1.5 cm (album); 24.2 x 18.2 cm (each photographic paper); 24 x 18 cm (paper with texts).

Provenance:
John Patrick Prior, USA.

Measurement:  19.5 x 25.5 cm
