Moria, a periodical of the She'erit HaPletah in the Netherlands - survivor testimonies and questions regarding the rehabilitation of the She'erit HaPletah in the Netherlands, alongside articles on current affairs and the recovery of the Jewish people from the terrible catastrophe - Netherlands, 1947-1948 A collection of early issues of the periodical ”Moria” (Moria - Joods Cultureel Maandblad), a Jewish cultural monthly edited by Chaim Nussbaum, Amsterdam, Adar 5707 - Iyar 5708. The collection of issues includes the first four consecutive issues. In the first issue, we find a chilling testimony of a Holocaust survivor, a student of the Telshe Yeshiva, describing the hardships he endured. The article opens with the writer's chilling testimony from the Japanese POW camp ”Tamarkan” in the Thailand/Burma region. The writer describes in vivid and poetic detail the Torah world that was destroyed: the glorious Telshe Yeshiva, the hundreds of students studying Torah day and night, and the tense atmosphere in the town absorbing Jewish refugees from Germany moments before the outbreak of World War II. Issues from the first and second years of the periodical's publication Issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 10 for the year 1947. Issue 3 from 1948 - the month of the establishment of the State of Israel.
