Rare prospectuses of the People's Movement for a Hebrew State – virulent denunciations of the Brits, a proposal for a Hebrew insurrection, and manifestos of electioneering and a statement of the movement's program.

1. Four-page manifesto, the movement's idea under the title 'What the People's Movement Wants for a Hebrew State'. Internal publication for members. 1945 soon.

2. Prospectus 'Platform for the Election to the 22nd Zionist Congress' – a detailed exposition of the movement's platform.

3. 'The Foundations of the Jewish Resistance Movement' – a call for Jewish resistance against the British Mandate authorities in Palestine.

The People's Movement for a Hebrew State, founded as a party in 1944 by Benjamin Eliav (Lubetzky) and his associates who had split from the New Zionist Organization founded by the Revisionists, with the aim of returning to work with the Labor Settlement people.

The party's political goals remained in line with the Revisionist movement and on the party's banner they inscribed the intensification of the struggle against the British rule in Palestine, with a harsh criticism of the Mapai party and of the activities of Chaim Weizmann, president of the Zionist Organization.

Concurrently, they worked for socialism in the settlement, in the spirit of the working settlement.

The movement contested the elections to the Fourth Assembly of the Eretz Yisrael Assembly, and won one seat for its chairman, Binyamin Eliav. It also submitted a list for the elections to the World Zionist Congress in 1946.

Among the movement's luminaries were the Ashkenazi nationalist Klemens Kaczyński and the son of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, Adi Jabotinsky.

תנועת העם למדינה עברית, הוקמה כמפלגה בשנת 1944 על ידי בנימין אליאב [לובצקי] יחד עם חבריו אשר התפלגו מההסתדרות הציונית החדשה שהקימו הרביזיוניסטים, כשמטרתם הייתה לשוב לעבוד יחד עם אנשי ההתיישבות העובדת.

מטרות המפלגה בהיבט המדיני נשארו חופפות לתנועה הרביזיוניסטית ועל דגל המפלגה הם חרטו את החרפת המאבק כנגד השלטון הבריטי בארץ ישראל, תוך ביקורת חריפה על דרכה של מפא"י ועל פעילותו של חיים וויצמן נשיא ההסתדרות הציונית.

במקביל פעלו למען סוציאליזם ביישוב, כרוח ההתיישבות העובדת.

התנועה התמודדה בבחירות לאספת הנבחרים הרביעית, וזכתה במושב אחד ליו"ר המפלגה בנימין אליאב. כמ"כ הגישה רשימה בבחירות לקונגרס הציוני העולמי בשנת 1946.

עם אישי התנועה נמנו הלאומן האשכנזי קלמן קצנלסון ובנו של זאב ז'בוטינסקי עדי ז'בוטינסקי.
