The only two issues that were printed - "The sirens and the alarms do not cease until the rescue comes" - The Journal "Al Ha'Matzav" - 1937-1941 - A pictorial and interesting item.
The two unique issues of the unique newspaper 'On the Situation' - Mandate period - fascinating material on the period and the Nazi threat - three copies of the second issue!
Al Ha'Matzav, by Shmuel Shernopolsky. Before us are the two only issues of this interesting periodical. The issues were printed in Tel Aviv. The first in 1937, and the second in 1941, and it deals mainly with the threat of air attacks that were then in the country! The first issue has 12 pages, and is in very good condition. From the second issue we have three copies, each eight pages long, containing articles by Shernofelsky and his wife Rachel.
The issues contain beautiful photographs and dozens of advertisements, some of them exquisitely drawn (including a picture of a double-decker bus in Tel Aviv!).
Good condition, with wear and tear at the edges, as is usual in newspapers due to the quality of their paper. The last two pages, in each of the copies before us, were not cut in the press.
שני הגליונות היחידים שנדפסו - "האזעקות והצפירות לא נפסקות עד שבאה ההצלה" – כתב העת 'על המצב' – 1941-1937 – פריט ציורי ומעניין
שני הגיליונות היחידים שנדפסו מהעיתון הייחודי 'על המצב' - תקופת המנדט - חומר מרתק על התקופה ועל האיום הנאצי - שלושה העתקים מהגיליון השני!
על המצב, הוצאה חד פעמית, מאת שמואל שרנופולסקי. לפנינו שני גיליונות היחידים שנדפסו מכתב עת מעניין זה. הגליונות נדפסו בתל-אביב. הראשון בשנת 1937, והשני בשנת תש"א 1941, והוא מתייחס בעיקר לאיום ההתקפות מן האוויר שהיו אז בארץ! בגיליון הראשון 12 עמ', והוא במצב טוב מאוד. מהגיליון השני יש לפנינו שלושה העתקים, כל אחד בן 8 עמ', וכולל מאמרים מאת שרנופלסקי ואשתו רחל.
הגליונות מכילים תמונות נהדרות ועשרות פרסומות בחלקן מצוירות יפהפיות (בין היתר תמונה של אוטובוס קומותיים ברחובות תל אביב!).
מצב טוב, עם בלאי וקרעים בשוליים, כרגיל בעיתונים בשל איכות דפיהם. שני הדפים האחרונים, בכל אחד מהעותקים שלפנינו, לא נחתכו בדפוס.
