The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Broida, the renowned head of the yeshiva in Metz who raised thousands of students! Among them dozens of the great European geonim of his generation. Rabbi of the cities of Metz and Frankfurt, who was known in his generation as the Rav of all the Jews of the Diaspora.
His name was carried far and wide in the dissemination of Torah to which he was privileged. His progeny, the Broida family, are numerous.
