Very rare booklets by the great educator Sarah Schnirer and 'Beit Yaakov' - Warsaw / Krakow, 1920s

A volume containing 10 issues from the official journal of 'Beit Ya'akov', including articles written by the educator Sarah Schnirer. Also appearing in the issues are articles by the teachers of the school, and works written by female students. At the end of the volume are two rare booklets by Sarah Schnirer herself, very rare first editions. A total of 12 booklets.

Below is the breakdown:

1. Kindergarten. Lodz, 1928. Issue 10. A collection of articles in Yiddish, edited by AG Friedenzahn, one of them by Sarah Schnirer.

2. Sheet 11. Detached title.

3. Issue 12. Includes an article by Sarah Schnierer.

4. Cheshvan 1929. [Issue 13?]. Article by Sara Schnirer and other writers.

5. Hanukkah publication. Issue 14. Keslev 1929. Articles by several writers including Sarah Schnirer.

6. Issue 15. Articles about the month of Shvet and Tu Beshvet, by Sarah Schnirer and other writers.

7. Sheet 16. Adar 1929. Includes illustrations. Article by Sarah Schnirer and others. On the back of the sheet is a picture of the Rebbe of Ostrovtsa.

8. Issue 17. Nissan 1929. Includes rare photos of female students and teachers of the Beit Ya'akov school.

9. Issue 18. [Iyar 1929].

10. Issue 19. Reference to the 'Batya' organization.

And two additional booklets in the volume:

11. Judith. A play by Sarah Schnirer. Krakow, 1921. First edition. 'Beit Ya'akov' publishing house. Yiddish. 32 p.. Very rare. Not in the National Library!

12. Der Koach Fun Heiligen Shabbat. By Sarah Schnierer. Krakow, 1922. First edition, and very rare. 29 pp. Not seen in sales!

The condition of the booklets in the volume: medium-fair. wear. Dry pages but mostly intact and beautiful. The volume is a little loose, and some pages are loose or detached.

כרך המכיל 10 גיליונות מכתב העת הרשמי של 'בית יעקב', ובהם גם מאמרים פרי עטה של המחנכת שרה שנירר ע"ה. כן מופיעים בגיליונות מאמרים מאת מורי ומורות בית הספר, ויצירות שכתבו התלמידות. בסוף הכרך שתי חוברות נדירות מאת פרי עטה של שנירר, מהדורות ראשונות ונדירות מאוד. סה"כ 12 חוברות.
