The book of Baal Ha'Maor, which the late Rabbi Zarchiya Halevi wrote about the book of our great Rabbi Rav Alfas, and the book Milhamot Hashem that the Ramban wrote to defend Rabbi Alfas. Bragadin Printing, Venice 1552.

Very rare first edition!

Between the pages of the book are glosses and notes in an ancient eastern manuscript. It seems that the origin of the book is in the Sephardic Yeshivot in Jerusalem in the seventeenth century.

Details of the pages:

Missing copy. we have pages, 1-38. [1] 64-93. should be: 93 page. we have the first and second title page and the last pages, the lack is in the middle of the book, pages 39-63 are missing. Pages 2-29 appear twice.

Average general condition. The book was completed from several copies, and is not bound. The pages are in average condition, and some of them are in poor condition. There are noticeable stains and damp spots. Moth holes and various damages. Wear and tear with lack of text on several pages. Last pages in poor condition with tears with noticeable lack and lack of last page.

בין דפי הספר הגהות והערות בכתב יד מזרחי קדום. נראה שמקור הספר בישיבות ירושלים הספרדיות במאה השבע עשרה.

עותק חסר. ישנם דפים, א-לח. [1] סד-צג. צ"ל: צג דף. יש את דף השער הראשון והשני. ישנם הדפים האחרונים החוסר הוא באמצע הספר, דפים לט-סג אינם. דפים ב-כ"ט ישנם פעמיים.

מצב כללי בינוני. הספר הושלם ממספר עותקים, ואינו כרוך. הדפים במצב בינוני, ואחדים מהם במצב גרוע. ישנם כתמים וכתמי רטיבות ניכרים. נקבי עש ונזקים שונים. בלאי וקרעים עם חוסר בטקסט במספר דפים. דפים אחרונים במצב גרוע עם קרעים עם חוסר וחוסר ניכר בדף האחרון.
