A huge collection of Kiryat Sefer magazine issues - the National Library Quarterly - over 200 issues!

The journal appeared quarterly, meaning 4 issues were published every year + a index issue.

We have sheets from 53 years (over 200 sheets) out of 73 years.

Each volume contains 4 issues.

* The sheets of the years 1-20 in sequence - bound together.

* Sheets of years 25, 29, 35, 38. separately.

* 44-73 issues [2003] in sequence - including the last issues printed from the journal. separately.

* Includes the index issues and supplements.

Good condition. Light creases and stains on a few sheets.

Volume: the sheets fill about 6 regular shelves, occupy about 6 cartons of size 38/30/30.

All bibliographic publications added to the database were recorded in the journal 'Kiryat Sefer'. The journal was published from the foundation of the database in 1925 until 2003. Many bibliographic articles were also written in it.

The journal is part of the Kiryat Sefer bibliographic project founded by the National Library, which aims to create the "National Bibliography of the State of Israel and the Jewish People". And this by a systematic cataloging of all material printed in the State of Israel, and of all material printed in the world dealing with the State of Israel or the Jewish people.

The publication in the journal is divided by sections (journals section, encyclopedias section, Bible section, midrash literature section, etc.), in each section appeared the books published on this topic, with each book accompanied by an exhaustive description and review.

* כולל גיליונות המפתחות והמוספים.

מצב טוב. קמטים וכתמים קלים בגיליונות ספורים.

נפח: הגיליונות ממלאים כ6 מדפים רגילים, תופסים כ-6 קרטונים בגודל 38/30/30.

רקע:

בכתב העת 'קרית ספר' תועדו כל הפרסומים הביבליוגרפיים שנוספו למאגר. כתב העת פורסם החל מייסוד המאגר בשנת 1925 ועד לשנת 2003. נכתבו בו גם מאמרים ביבליוגרפיים רבים.

כתב העת הוא חלק מפרויקט ביבליוגרפי 'קרית ספר' שנוסד על ידי הספרייה הלאומית, ושמטרתו ליצור את "הביבליוגרפיה הלאומית של מדינת ישראל והעם היהודי". וזאת על ידי קטלוג שיטתי של כל החומר המודפס במדינת ישראל, ושל כל החומר המודפס בעולם העוסק במדינת ישראל או בעם היהודי.

הפרסום בכתב העת חולק לפי מדורים (מדור כתבי עת, מדור אנציקלופדיות, מדור מקרא, מדור ספרות המדרש, וכו'), בכל מדור הופיעו הספרים שיצאו לאור בנושא זה, כאשר לכל ספר נלווה תיאור וסקירה ממצה.
