Marriage Certificate Signed by the Wonder-Worker the Admo"r Rabbi David Moshe of Kretchnif

Marriage certificate signed in the hand of wonder-worker Rabbi David Moshe of Kretchnif, 1962.

The certificate is for the marriage of Rabbi Yonah Meir Thaler to Channah Rosenberger. The witnesses were Rabbis Nissan Turchin, rabbi of Yehud, and Rabbi Moshe Ze'ev Friedman, Av Beit Din of Nasod and later chief rabbi of Jaffa. Rabbi Moshe eventually became the in-law of the Admo"r of Kretchnif, when the Admo"r's son, known as the Admo"r of Bichkov, married Rabbi Friedman's daughter.

The Admo"r Rabbi David Moshe Rosenbaum [1925-1969], son of the Admo"r Rabbi Eliezer Ze'ev of Kretchnif ascended to the Land of Israel after the Holocaust. Upon the advice of the Chazon Ish and the Admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz, he moved to Rechovot, where he established a Chareidi neighborhood and founded his Torah institutions. He was known as a wondrous person and his home was a pilgrimage site for many Jews who appealed to him with a request for counsel and blessings in all areas. He was known for his open miracles as childless women were blessed with children and people who were ill recovered, through his writing "recipes" - prescriptions. All his children follow in his path.
