Letter from the Admo"r of Lubavitch to his aunt, the modest rebbetzin, Mrs. Rachel [Schneersohn, wife of his uncle, Rabbi Shalom Shlomo]. 11 Nissan, 1962. Brooklyn, New York.
The Rebbe "places his finger" on the most difficult problem of the modern era - worries (or, as they are currently known, 'anxieties'), which consume a person from the inside. He blesses precisely: "Freedom from worries," and then when there are no worries, "Divine service in joy and good-heartedness." Yet he does not suffice with this, adding: "Continue with this freedom and joy throughout the entire year."
