The postcards depict touching scenes of Jewish life: Shabbat, the Shacharit prayer, Bar Mitzvah, Rosh HaShanah, querying a rabbi, a Jew praying, Chanukah, preparing noodles, eating fish, and more.
Alphonse Lévy [1843-1918] was a French-Jewish satire artist who painted scenes of Jewish life.
Average size: 9x14 cm. Very fine condition.
