Tractate Niddah. Warsaw, 1868. Signatures of Rabbi Shmuel Heller from Safed and his son-in-law Rabbi Yitzchak Luberbaum. [1] 74 leaves, 22 cm. There are two hand-written signatures on the title page, the first is Rabbi Shmuel Heller, the Rabbi of Safed. Rabbi Shmuel Heller served as the Rabbi of Safed from the year 1841, and was amongst the great Chassidic leaders in Eretz Yisrael. He died in 1884. He authored the books: Taharat Hakodesh, Divrei Mishpat and Shivrei Luchot, amongst others. The second signature is of his son-in-law Rabbi Yitzchak Luberbaum, the grandson of Rabbi Yaacov Luberbaum of Lissa, the author of Chavat Daat and Netivot Hamishpat. He was one of the chachamim of Safed. He wrote anonymously Itur Sofrim, that was printed by Yeshivat Chatam Sofer in Safed. Very good condition.
