Explanations by Rabbi Yaacov Haim son of Rabbi Yitzhak Baruch [Sofer]. Jerusalem, [1911]. Dedication in the author’s handwriting. Single edition. [2] 37, 24.5 cm. On the title page in the author’s handwriting: Gift sent for the honor of the rich and elevated man, R’ Yochanan son of Yitzhak, may his name live forever, according to G-d’s will. Rabbi Yaacov Haim Sofer was born in Baghdad in the year 5627 [1867]. In the year 5664 [1904] he emigrated to Jerusalem. He was known for his monumental Halachic work Kaf Haim. In addition to his greatness as a Torah scholar in Torat Hanigleh (theRevealed Torah) and in Halacha, he was great in Kabbalah knowledge. Died in the year 5699 [1939]. Original binding. In very good condition.
