Or Zarua. Decisions and Halachot and Responsa by Rabbi Yitzhak ben Rabbi Moshe of Vienna. Zhitomir, Shapira Press, 5622 [1862]. Two volumes. First edition. [2] 232: 4, 184 pages, 37 cm. The author was one of the great Rishonim, a student of the Rav’ya and HaRim, a commentator, and also the Rabbi of the Maharam of Rotenberg. The manuscript of this book was in the archives of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Lehren of Amsterdam who bought it from a fisherman in Paris. The manuscript was found on the seashore after the ship it was on sank in the depths of the sea, and by a miracle the manuscript survived. With an approbation of the Chidushei HaRim, Rabbi Yitzhak Elhanan of Kovna and others. Two volumes with two title pages. On both title pages the name of the book and place of printing is in red colored ink. Original semi-leather binding. In good-very good condition
