Special Tehillim printed in sanctity without commentaries, in large illuminating letters, designated for reciting Tehillim, at the press of the partners, the rabbi of Slavuta's grandsons, Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel. Zhitomir, 1815. Extraordinarily rare edition. Incomplete copy.
This Tehillim was printed in large letters and without commentaries, not as part of a Tana"ch, for the purpose of pouring one's heart out before Hash-m.
Lacking the title page and the following two leaves - Psalm 1 (the missing leaves are completed by professional photocopy). Lacking leaves 85-90, and from the end of Psalm 119 to the middle of Psalm 136 (the missing leaves are completed by professional photocopy). The book concludes on page 198 with a prayer for a person who is ill; without ma'amadot.
17.5 cm. Aging stains. Pretty semi-leather binding. Fine condition.
