Set [6 Volumes] of 'Maleh Kaf Nachat' Mishnayot. Vienna, Early 19th Century. Impressive Set
Complete set of Maleh Kaf Nachat mishnahs, vowelized, with commentary and translation into Yiddish-Deutsch. Vienna, 1817-1835. Impressive set printed over almost 20 years, at two printing houses.
"Maleh Kaf Nachat" commentary by Rabbi Shneur Feivish ben Ya'akov (great-grandson and grandson of Rabbi Moshe Isserles of Krakow) Raava"d of Greater Glogau in Poland, son-in-law of Rabbi Avigdor z"l, who was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yonah Teomim, author of Kikayon D'Yonah.
For details of the printing, see The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book entry no. 000150700. According to what is written there, the year detail in Part I was erroneously also written in Parts II to IV. Likewise, on the title pages of the last parts, "After Rabbi's German Translation ..." is written [Yiddish].
Part IV: Nezikin. Vienna, Greg Halitzinger Press. 1820. 244, 250-410, [2] leaves. This volume is apparently the one listed in the Bibliography, no. 000150698, apparently from a parallel printing the same year. There may be one or two leaves lacking in the middle, which are not from the body of the mishnah nor from the commentary.
Part V: Kadshim. Vienna, Anton Schmidt Press. 1835. 372 leaves.
Part VI: Taharot: Vienna, Anton Schmidt Press. 1835. 273, [2], 277-537 leaves.
Approximately 20 cm. Shelf width 32 cm. Very fine condition. Aging stains. Beautiful new bindings.
