The Admor Rabbi Moshe Yechiel HaLevi Epstein [1889-1971], the Admor of Ozhorov Chentchin, was born in Ozhorov to his father Rabbi Avraham Shlomo, who served as Av Beit Din and Admor in the city. At the age of 22, he began to serve as Admor himself. In 1926, he immigrated to America, then to Israel in 1953. He was a member of the Council of Torah Sages, and winner of the the Israel Prize for Torah Literature in 1968. He authored the works Esh Dat and Beer Moshe on the Torah.
