Shanah Tovah postcard, written, signed and stamped by Rabbi Eliezer Papo, grandson of the Pele Yoetz.

[Original in Hebrew]: "My lips will not cease to bless him and his family with the blessing of years. May you be written and signed for good, may the year and its blessings begin, a year of joy and happiness, a year of wealth and honor, a year of life and blessings and success ... Eliezer Papo Pele."

Rabbi Eliezer Papo son of Pel"e was the son of Rabbi Yehudah son of Rabbi Eliezer Papo, the Pele Yoetz. His was father-in-law of kabbalist Rabbi Aharon Azriel, author of the Shu"t Kapei Aharon. His father, Rabbi Yehudah, signed his name "ben Pele," emphasizing that he was the son of Rabbi Eliezer Papo. Here too, the writer of this letter uses the name "Ben Pele," as synonymous with his last name.
