Rare Responsum in Hichot Kilayim from the Posek HaDor, the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, to the Rabbi of Moshav Yesodot

Lengthy halachic responsum, spanning two densely yet very clearly written pages, handwritten and signed by the posek hador, the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach. [Jerusalem; year not indicated.]

The responsum is addressed to the gaon Rabbi David Ben Tziyon Klein, rabbi of the Chassidic Yishuv, Yesodot, which is in the Shefelah region. It discusses Land-of-Israel-dependent mitzvahs, specifically kil'ei zera'im. At the beginning of the responsum, Rabbi Shlomo Zalman writes apologetically, "I am at the service of others, and I am totally consumed by other issues, so I will just address this in brief."

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach.

[2] pp, 20 cm. Entirely handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman.

Very fine condition. Fold marks and staple perforations.
