[24] important and interesting marriage certificates from prominent important rabbis in Eastern Europe in the period of the Holocaust - rabbis from Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. Most of the certificates are signed after the Holocaust in Jerusalem. 1939-1952.


Certificates in this lot include:


  • Wedding certificate: The gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyamin Sofer, author of Chashav Sofer, av beit din and rosh yeshivah of Pressburg. Written in Jerusalem, 1950.
  • Wedding certificate: Rabbi David Shperber, av beit din of Braşov, aparkasta d'anya. Written in Jerusalem, 1951.
