Dutch Tzeddakah Box. Early 20th Century. Rare
Tzedakah box made of black-painted copper with two compartments. Each compartment is covered with a lid that opens on a hinge. One compartment has an opening for depositing coins.
The façade bears a relief of a pair of elderly people, and on the back, is a relief of a patient receiving care at a hospital.
Dutch inscription: "New Jewish Hospital." Serial number at the bottom: A3892.
Length: 13.5 cm. Width: 7.5 cm. Height: 10 cm.
Fine condition. Minimal paint peeling.
