"Refer to my work on the Zohar" - early gloss handwritten in this early copy of the Zohar.
Early edition of Sefer HaZohar. During that same period, they were still using two early editions of the Zohar, one printed in Mantua and the other in Cremona, with significant differences. This edition combines the two. It was printed per the Cremona edition, but the text was revised according to the Mantua edition. This is also the first print appearance of the Imrei Binah commentary by Rabbi Yissachar Ber of Kremenitz.
Several handwritten glosses appear along the leaves of the sefer. One gloss, as mentioned, was apparently written by a great Kabbalist who even wrote a commentary on the Zohar. We have not investigated his identity.

Poor condition. Dismantled leaves. Worming perforations. Worn binding. Blemishes on several leaves.
