B'Sukkot Teshvu Shiv'at Yamim. Pewter Plate. Germany, 19th Century
Pewter plate made in honor of Sukkot, with a relief at center of Moritz Oppenheim's famous picture of a family around the table during the Sukkot holiday. Engraved around the edge of the plate: "You shall dwell in Sukkot seven days."
Diameter: 27 cm.
Hook for hanging on the back. Fine condition. Slight wear.
