Letter of recommendation instead of formal semichah written by Rabbi Eliyahu David Rabinowitz Teomim - the Adere"t, for Rabbi Shmuel Rapoport. Mir, c. 1895.
The Adere"t writes that he does not consider himself among the gedolim to grant semichat chachamim, so this letter is a kind of recommendation.
