First edition of the responsa works by the Admo"r Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Dej, printed in his lifetime. The Yoreh Deah section was printed before the Orach Chaim section. Aggadic novellae appear at the end of the Orach Chaim section, with the complete address the Admo"r delivered upon the demise of Emperor Franz Yosef delineating the entire list of progression of emperors in chronological order with a great many details, over four large pages!

Beautiful dedication at the top of the first title page [Orach Chaim] handwritten by the nephew of the gaon Rabbi Chaim Betzalel Panet, av beit din of Reteag, author of Divrei Betzalel [son of the gaon Rabbi Ya'akov, son of the author of She'erit Ya'akov son of the sacred gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Moshe, son of the Mar'eh Yechezkel].
