Early Postcard in Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky's Handwriting
Postcard in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky from 9/5/67.
In the postcard, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky turns to Rabbi Tzvi Schlesinger - a sofer st"m (scribe) requesting that he turn to him with respect to proofreading books of the prophets: 'I would ask he would come to me regarding proofreading the remaining (books of) prophets.' Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky's signature is in the margins, along with another signature in the place designated for the sender's name. Postmarked Bnei Brak, 9/5/1967.
Letters in Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky's handwriting from those years are rare, most of the known handwritten letters are from recent years.
