Letter by Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner - Encouraging Shabbat / Chatima Tova Blessings with an Addition in his Handwriting

* Letter to the administration of the National Association for Shabbat, handwritten and signed by Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner on Tuesday of Parshat VaEra 1960. In the letter, he stands by them them after he was unable to participate in their gathering, and he blesses them that they merit increasing the honor of the holy Shabbat. His handwritten signature is in the margin of the letter. 22x14 cm. Very fine condition.

* 'Ketiva V'Gmar Chatima Tova Shnat Geula V'Yeshua' card with Rabbi Wosner's printed signature and additional writings in his hand. 7x10 cm. Very fine condition.

The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel HaLevi Wosner [1913-2015], author of Shevet HaLevi, was the rosh yeshiva of Chachmei Lublin in Bnei Brak and one of the greatest halachic adjudicators of our generation.
