Handwritten and Hand-Drawn Haggadah Given by the Chatam Sofer to his Wife Sarel. Facsimile

"I wrote it for the great gaon, the unique wonder of the generation, wondrous in all sorts of wonders, the honorable Moshe Sofer,  av beit din and lecturer in Pressburg. He gifted it to his wife, Rebbetzin Sarel, daughter of the sacred gaon Rabbi ... Akiva Eiger"

Seder Haggadah shel Pesach - a precise copy of the original haggadah written and drawn by Moshe b"r Nattan HaKohen in 1816 for the gaon Moshe Sofer (author of Chatam Sofer), published by B. Cohen. Berlin, 1924.

The haggadah was originally drawn in 1816, in honor of the Chatam Sofer. The Chatam Sofer gave it as a gift to his wife Sarel, daughter of Rabbi Akiva Eiger - as written by the artist on the title page.
