These letters were all written for the Admo"r Rabbi Yosef Meir Kahane of Spinka, son of the founder of the Spinka-Kahane dynasty, and grandson of the Imrei Yosef of Spinka. Due to the importance of the topic of these letters, and the lofty Chassidic dynasty he was destined to lead, the gedolei hador write unusually expansive letters with important blessings in their letters, including details of the Rebbe's distinguished lineage "grandson of the rebbe Rabbi Meir of Premishlan" (the Tepliker Rav); "Grandson of the the sacred (rebbes) of Zhidichov and Zvihl" (the gaon Rabbi Ya'akov Moshe Charlop).
