Three Rabbinic Letters - Satmar
* A letter in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Mordechai Bezalel Klein, Dayan of the Yitav Lev community of Satmar, Lakewood. The letter is addressed to Rabbi Chaim Yisrael Moshe Friedman in preparation for the High Holy Days. "Now, when the High Holy Days are imminent and everyone is fearful and trembling in fear of judgement, I make an accounting for myself that I do not fulfill my obligations to the Talmud Torah in our city of Be'er Sheva and I decided to donate $100 to the upkeep of the Talmud Torah." Further on in the letter he discusses his place of residence in Lakewood: "There is no special news here, but thank God, everything is thank God going well, may God continue and add to this here especially here in Lakewood...the state of the institutions has improved, and we recently bought another large building, the study hall is also overcrowded and we are looking for a donor for a new study hall..." and he ends with blessing for a good new year "and may we soon hear the sound of the shofar of the messiah and go to Zion joyfully...".
* A letter in the handwriting and with the signature of Rabbi Yechiel Aush, Dayan of Satmar, Brooklyn. Addressed to his nephew Rabbi Chaim Yisrael Moshe.
