Rabbi Eliyahu HaKohen HaItamri of Izmir [Otzar HaRabbanim 2129] was the son of Rabbi Shlomo HaItamri. He was a prominent Izmir sage, who passed away in 1729. This was the first one of his works to be printed. He authored Medrash Talpiot, Me'il Tzedaka, Medrash Eliyahu and more. Poetic owner notations. according to the printers' introduction, this is the first book printed under their partnership. Shoshana HaLevi 85.
