The endpaper bears an inscription by the author to the Mashgiach Rabbi Yechezkel Levenstein and an owner stamp of Rabbi Levenstein.
Interesting inscription: "L'chvod Kavod Roeh V'Shomer...." [In honor of the shepherd and guardian ...Yechezkel Levenstein shlit"a, a gift is sent..Moshe Zvi Nerya." Underneath the inscription is the stamp of Rabbi Yechzekel Levenstein, the mashgiach of Yeshivat Ponevezh.
Rabbi Yechezkel Levenstein [1885-1794] was a prominent mussar personality who studied in Kelm. He merited the title "HaMashgiach" and educated thousands of disciples. He was mashgiach in the Mir Yeshiva and then Ponevezh. His articles were published in the Ohr Yechezkel.
Rabbi Moshe Zvi Nerya [1913-1996] was a leader of religious Zionism and a founder of the Bnei Akiva yeshivot. He was known as the "patriarch of kipot srugot" since he helped shape the face of the national-religious community.
Very fine condition.
