Tana"ch. Venice, 1633-1634. Exceptionally Rare

Tana"ch, with explanations of foreign words in Ladino under order of the Commisarry of the Minister Juan Vinderman, by the craftsman Pekido Juani Colioni Venice, Vinderman Press. 1633-1634. Two volumes: Nevi'im, Ketuvim. Exceptionally Rare.

Beautiful Tanach in a small format, with explantions of the words in Ladino in the margins of the pages (The title page of the chumashim states that the explantion is in German, but this is incorrect, the explanation is in Ladino). Refer to Steinschneider no. 465.

Present here:

Nevi'im Acharonim, 393: Yeshayah, Yirmiyah, Yechezkel, Trei Asar. [1] 5-404 leaf.

Ketubim, 394. Tehillim, MIshlei, Iyov, Daniel, Ezra, Divrei HaYamim. [1], 5-432 leaf.

These two volumes are exceptionally rare. The editors of Mif'al HaBibliograhiah HaIvri only saw, in the part with the Later Prophets, only Hoshea-Malachi. Leaves: 325-404 leaf, and the part on Ketuvim they did not see at all.

According to the listing in Catalog HaSifri HaIvrit, they do not have: Mishlei, Iyov, Divrei HaYamim (which are all present here).

Two volumes. 12 cm.

Very fine condition except for the first two leaves (slightly damaged and detached) in the volume of Nevi'im Acharonim. Used semi-leather binding.
