Sefer Beit Meir al Shulchan Aruch Even HaEzer by the gaon Rabbi Meir Posner. With glosses by the gaon Rabbi Baruch Frankel Teomim, author of Baruch Ta'am (father-in-law of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz), copied from his manuscript. First edition of Hagahot HaBaruch Ta'am. Lvov, 1860.


Personal copy that belonged to the Admo"rim Rabbi Yisrael Horowitz of Baranov, son of Rabbi Eliezer'l of Dzikov, son of the founder of the Ropschitz dynasty, Rabbi Naftali of Ropschitz. After him, the book was passed on to his son and successor, Rabbi Avraham Simchah Horowitz of Baranov. With his owner's signature and notations.


Owners' signature and notations on the inner side of the front binding and the protective leaves by the Admo"rim of the Ropschitz dynasty: "The youth Yisrael Horowitz of Baranov" - apparently this is the sacred gaon Rabbi Yisrael of Baranov, son of Rabbi Eliezer of Dzikov, son of the founder of the Ropschitz dynasty, Rabbi Naftali of Ropschitz. Another notation: "This precious and beautiful sefer belongs to the great light, scion of the sacred ... [additional honorifics] Rabbi Avraham Simchah Horowitz in Baranov" - This is none other than Rabbi Avraham Simchah of Baranov, son of the above-mentioned Rabbi Simchah. Gloss on page 10b in his script, signed: "The youth Chananya Lipa Meislish."
