Yessodei Yosef, Kabbalah. Frankfurt am Oder, 1679. Rare First Edition
Sefer Yessod Yosef, Kabbalistic tikkun keri by Kabbalist Rabbi Yosef bar Shlomo Klapara of Poznań, disciple of Mahara"m Popirash. Frankfurt am Oder, 1679. Rare first edition.
This is the first sefer entirely dedicated to the topic of Tikkun HaYessod and it is cited by many mussar and Chassidic works. Leading poskim as well, such as the author of Chayyei Adam and the author of Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, bring these rectifications for that transgression according to this sefer. In his sefer, the sacred author writes that he copied the text of the prayer 'Brich Shmeih' precisely from a leaf in the Zohar that belonged to his teacher, Mahara"m Papiro"sh, and he related what he received from him as a segulah to recite the 'Brich Shmeih' prayer during the removal of the Torah scroll (from the holy ark).
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the author, Rabbi Yosef b"r Shlomo Klaperah.
Ginzei Yisrael 1017.
[16] leaf, 18 cm. New binding.
Fine condition. Aging stains. Isolated worming perforations. Abrasions and tiny tears in the upper margins of the first leaves, far from the text.
