Set of Chamishah Chumshei Torah in five volumes, with Targum Onkelos and Rash"i's commentary. Amsterdam, Yochanan Levi Rofeh Press, 1786. Pocket edition - only 13.5 cm. Signatures by Rabbi Yehudah Bamberger, son of Rabbi Simchah, av beit din of Fischach, son of Rabbi Yitzchak Dov of Würzburg.
The five volumes are bound in the original matching reddish bindings, with stunning extraordinary gilt imprints that cover the entire surface of each binding.

Bamidbar: [318]-418 leaf.
Devarim: [419]-509 leaf.
The original also included the five meggilot; they are not included here.

Overall fine-very fine condition. Minimal wear, creases, usage and aging stains. The bindings are preserved in very beautiful condition considering how delicate they are and how much time has gone by, with just a few abrasions and light blemishes. The spines are reinforced by later pasting.
