Chassidut, First Edition. Chemdat Yisrael. Chassidic Book Printed in Livorno

"Heard from the rabbi, the great luminary, the gaon Rabbi Yisrael Nachman in the name of HaRav HeChassid, his father Rabbi Yosef z"l, disciple of HaRav HeChassid Rabbi Yisrael Besh"t z"l" (the Chid"a)

Sefer Kohelet with the Chemdat Yisrael commentary by the sacred gaon Rabbi Yisrael Nachman of Drohobych, a close associate of the Chid"a's, who mentions him in his sefer Chomat Anach where he refers to him as "HaMeor HaGadol." Livorno, 1820. First edition. Including the rare leaves.

Kabbalistic and Chassidic commentary, matters heard by the author in his travels through various countries. In the last page, he brings a Torah thought in the name of the Gr"a. The author mentions in his preface that he was left with only one son (out of six children from his three wives).

Leaves 57, 2-58 bear a thousand אs [אל"ף אלפי"ן] with a commentary. Leaves 59-62: a thousand בs [אלף ביתי"ן], with a commentary. These leaves were added after the sefer was published, and are not found in all copies.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the author, the sacred gaon Rabbi Yisrael Nachman of Drohobych.
