Volume from the first post-Holocaust print of the Talmud for survivors of the camps. On the title page: Published by "Va’ad Agudat Rabbanim in the American Zone of Germany." Frontispiece with illustrations of Jewish towns in the Land of Israel and of a labor camp surrounded by a barbed-wire fence, and the captions: "Labor Camp in Germany During the Nazi Period" and “They had almost destroyed me on earth; but I did not forsake your precepts” Signature on the title page: Ovadiah Yosef.
